Art show card
I designed this art show postcard for the two person show "Spatial Considerations: Natural and Man-made Environments" held at the Porter Mill Gallery. It featured my paintings and the photography of Pamela Cobb.
Art Throb North Shore: work featured in exhibition review
In Art Throb North Shore, an artist journal, my watercolor was featured in an article about a show entitled "Transformation" held at the Porter Mill Gallery in Beverly MA. The watercolor depicts a classroom as it looked long ago at my high school, Classical High School in Springfield MA. They closed this beautiful school in 1986 and converted it to condominiums...and Classical merged with Tech and became Central High School. To this date I still think it was a huge mistake, they should have refurbished the original building, this was one of the top high schools in the country with several well-known graduates: Theodore Weisel (Dr. Seuss) and Timothy Leary, the hippie guru Harvard Professor.

Alon Gallery Show - Spaces and Places
The group show 'Spaces and Places' showcased the pulp paintings being created by me and three other paper painters in the Boston area in the late 1980's. We created our pieces at papermaking studios such as Rugg Road and the Carriage House Paper studio. This invitation highlights the Boston paper renaissance and the contemporary explorations of pulp and color that occurred in the 1980's and 90's.
